A Stark County jury has found Sean Goe guilty of murder and several other charges in the death of his girlfriend, Raychel Sheridan. The verdict was delivered Friday after a four-day trial and brief deliberations following closing arguments that morning.

Goe, 27, was convicted of murder, felonious assault, gross abuse of a corpse, and tampering with evidence. His sentencing is set for Nov. 18, with the murder conviction alone carrying a potential prison sentence of 15 years to life.

During the trial, Prosecutor Dennis Barr described Sheridan’s injuries as severe, detailing to jurors that she suffered at least 10 blows to the head, causing trauma that ultimately led to her death. Barr argued that the injuries demonstrated a clear intent to cause harm, leading to the conviction on multiple charges.
