St. Peter Catholic School will remain closed Monday, Feb. 10, due to ongoing staff illnesses, school officials announced on social media.
This marks the second consecutive closure for the school, which also shut down Friday for the same reason.
The decision comes amid a particularly severe flu season, with health officials reporting the highest levels of influenza activity in at least 15 years. Cases of the common cold are also increasing this winter.
School administrators did not specify when classes would resume but encouraged families to monitor updates for further announcements.
